Friends Defend Jon Gosselin
Friends of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" dad Jon Gosselin are coming to his defense after allegations of him stepping out on his wife. Longtime family friend Dustin Sands tells People.com that the reality pop just needs time to himself. "The guy just needs to be cut some slack once in awhile when he wants to relax a bit," he says. Brian Sep, another friend of the family, goes even farther, saying, "He's just hanging out, relaxing with his friends. Honestly, he doesn't go out that much. It seems like he's on house lockdown. He's a fulltime Dad." Meanwhile, Pat Fagan, a bouncer at Legends Lounge -- where Jon was spotted with the other woman he calls a friend -- says that Jon's night out was totally innocent. "They seemed like casual friends. There was no romantic anything. They weren't gazing into each other's eyes," Pat added. "He always has his wedding band on. He talks about his kids all the time.
