Taylor Momsen Helps Sephora Introduce Temptu To The Masses
Remember that do-it-yourself airbrushing system that Temptu gave INO a preview of earlier this year? Well, they officially made it available to the public on Friday at the opening of Sephora's new store in Times Square. Sephora and Temptu set up shop at Father Duffy Square and proceeded to make New Yorkers more beautiful. A DJ spun hits that kept the crowd entertained while they waited. Sephora did different fun challenges, like setting the Guiness World Record for the most cosmetic makeovers by a team of 5 in one hour. Girls (and a guy) formed a line circling the entire block to get a chance at their makeover. The Sephora team of 5 cleaned, swiped, blended and smudged for one hour straight. It was like a beauty ER, with makeup artists yelling what tools they needed to other members of the team, who scurried to get it to them. Taylor Momsen stopped by, rocking her usual grunge chic look. Everyone walked away with a fresh professionally applied face of makeup, some ice-cream and yes, Sephora broke the record. They apparently broke the clouds as well. The rain was unmerciful, as beauty diehards stuck it out in the line under umbrellas. Temptu Makes New York Blush was next with fast airbrush application of blush. Using Temptu's sleek new system, makeup artists made everyone rosier, in mere minutes. I had mine done as well. It gave my makeup a much-need refreshed look. Hey, it was 4:30pm and the humidity did not help! If you're curious about this new airbrushing system but couldn't make it to Times Square for the preview, there are trained in-store staff that can tell you more and even give you a demo.
