Madonna on Remarrying: I'd Rather Get Run Over By Train
Music icon Madonna sat down with CBS "Late Show" host David Letterman and joked about her marriage of eight years to director Guy Ritchie, her rumored relationship with New York Yankee player Alex Rodriguez and the prospect of getting remarried. "I was married during the [President George W.] Bush years," Madonna jokes. "It was a good time to be out of America." "Didn't you almost get arrested for bringing up A-Rod's name last time? ... Oh, I mean fired," she joked, referring to the scrutiny Letterman received about a joke he made regarding former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin attending a Yankees game with her daughter. "During the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez," Letterman had said in June. According to Madonna, this was her eighth appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman."[Read full story on The Insider]
