The National Enquirer is reporting that Ashlee Simpson can't get over being fired from 'Melrose Place'. There was a rumor that Heather Locklear pulled some strings and gave the singer the boot to avoid any celebrity competition. Either way, Ashlee's out of a job and some say still really upset about the whole situation. "Ashlee didn't see it coming, and now she's crushed," divulged an insider. "She invested her heart and soul into the job. She feels like the rug has been pulled out from under her." This isn't the only problem in Ashlee's life at the moment. "She is struggling to hold her marriage together, dealing with motherhood and practically starving herself to look good," said the insider.
