Gwyneth Paltrow Goes Country with Tim McGraw for Film
Gwyneth Paltrow and Tim McGraw will be sharing the screen for 'Love Don't Let Me Down,' according to Variety. Tobey Maguire is on tap to produce the flick. "Gossip Girl"'s Leighton Meester will be trading in her penthouse digs on the Upper East Side to play a beauty queen-turned-singer in Nashville, reports Variety. In the film, a rising singer songwriter, to be played by Garrett Hedlund, gets involved with a fallen country singer (Paltrow). As the singers embark on a tour with Paltrow's husband and manager (McGraw) and Meester's character, romantic complications ensue and demons from the past resurface to throw them off track, Filming is scheduled to begin in January in Music City, USA.[Read full story on The Insider]
