Gerard Butler headed to the Caribbean over the weekend for some New Year's fun of his own. He hit the beach shirtless yesterday with a few friends in Barbados, where Simon Cowell has been enjoying his fair share of jet-skiing and soaking up the sun. Gerard similarly ventured off dry land for a little swim in the water. He was off enjoying downtime after a whirlwind 2009 full of filming and promoting movies - he'll be back on the circuit later this year to chat about new projects like The Bounty, which already has a full trailer out.
