David Letterman and Jay Leno Appear in Super Bowl Commercial Together




Just weeks before Jay Leno is scheduled to return to "The Tonight Show," the comedian appeared in a Super Bowl commercial with his late night rival David Letterman and another renowned talk show host. Click HERE to view. "This is the worst Super Bowl party ever," Letterman exclaims as the camera pans to reveal that he is seated on a couch with Oprah Winfrey and Leno. "He's just saying that cause I'm here," Leno bites back. Winfrey took to her Twitter account following the commercial's debut, tweeting: "Yes, that was REAL D, J and me. Shot Tuesday nite in New York undercover at D's studio." The commercial was to promote the "Late Show with David Letterman," airing weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS. Letterman's camp came up with the idea and approached Jay about appearing in the spot.
