Nicole Eggert 'Very Saddened' by Corey Haim's Death
Corey Haim's former co-star and ex-girlfriend Nicole Eggert is opening up about the actor's untimely death. Nicole tells "The Insider" in a statement, "I am very saddened at the news of Corey's death and that he was unable to overcome the demons he so deeply struggled with. It is tragic and my heart and well wishes go out to his family. May he finally be in peace." Haim, an '80s film star and former teen heartthrob, died early Wednesday morning at the age of 38. Coroner Ed Winter told "The Insider" that Haim had complained of having flu-like symptoms for a couple of days and that no illegal drugs were found, but some prescription drugs have been identified.
