Katherine Heigl Plans To Focus More On Being A Mom
Although she said she couldn't discuss what was happening with 'Grey's Anatomy' at the ShoWest convention, Katherine Heigl did say she planned to scale back on her workload. "I think I'm just gonna try and keep it a little more mellow," she told PEOPLE of her future plans, "and be a little bit more of a mom, since that's a big part of my life now. "I took those 3 months off [of maternity leave] and I realized how very, very important is my family is to me and I want to be more available to them." I certainly don't blame her (actors on TV shows are said to work brutal hours), but I also suspect she's trying to give a more acceptable reason for leaving 'Grey's Anatomy' than wanting to pursue a feature film career :) Well, regardless, I like Katherine's movies and plan on seeing her new one with Ashton Kutcher, 'Killers,' in the theater.
