Lauren Conrad Talks About New Novel, L.A. Candy
It's official, people: Lauren Conrad is not merely a reality TV starlet (The Hills) or a fashion designer. She is a brand now who is about to add author to her resume for her novel, L.A. Candy, which is scheduled for release on June 16, 2009. L.A. Candy is the first of a trilogy. They will tell a behind-the-scenes story of a young girl who moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show. The books will be loosely inspired by my own experience and are definitely influenced by my own life. Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life, but it is in no way calling anyone out." I'm sure that disclaimer is necessary for legal reasons, but does that make you any less interested? Will you be looking for this book?
