Update On The Ladies Of The Hills
As the premiere date of the last season of The Hills creeps closer we are hearing more and more from Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. Heidi is busy in the studio working on new music, while LC has some new projects up her sleeve. First off, check out Heidi's new song, "Look How I'm Doing" and tell me what you think...do you think her music career will take off or would you rather she stuck to reality TV? And secondly, here's what Lauren had to say about moving on after her last season. "I actually thought last season was going to be my last. [But] the producers wanted to hopefully give the show some sort of closure and needed one more season. I didn't have that much conflict in my life over the last few months." She adds, "I think I only cry in one episode." And, she's looking to turn her book deal into a new TV series. Conrad says that she's in discussions to turn her upcoming young-adult book series -- loosely based on her Hills experience -- into a TV drama. "We've been taking a lot of meetings lately," says Conrad, whose first novel, L.A. Candy, hits shelves in June. "I don't know exactly where I want to go, but I've looked into producing because I've always found that so interesting." I'm so confused. If the books are based off of The Hills, and the show would be based off of the books, doesn't that mean we'd just be watching the reality show again, but this time with actors instead of real people? read more
