Taylor Swift: No Regrets Over Joe Jonas Breakup Song
Taylor Swift says she simply writes what she knows -- even if it's a breakup with tween sensation Joe Jonas. "Writing songs about people is the only way I know how to do things," the country cutie says in the May issue of Seventeen magazine, out April 7. "I mean, I can't wish I hadn't written a song about someone, because if I hadn't, that song wouldn't exist. I just don't find any joy in writing about things I haven't been through." For the young singer, her life is her inspiration. "Right now, my favorite thing to write about is love. And breakups. And boys. And feelings," she says. Though boys may come and go, friendships are built to last -- with her BFFs "in Nashville, it's Abigail [who's mentioned in her song "Fifteen"], and Kellie Pickler.
