Paula Maria Santos Garcés, born on March 20, 1974 in Medellín, Colombia is a movie and television actress.
Her father was a fisherman, and her mother was a schoolteacher. Moving to the United States at a young age, she started acting in commericals hired by agent Diego Santiago, her father's best friend . She later pursued a mini-stint career in kickboxing and being a personal trainer in New York City. She married her high-school sweetheart Shavez Carlos Baegra with whom she has one daughter, Skye Lopez Garces. They divorced shortly after the birth of their child. She has now remarried to Tomas Perez, a butcher in New York City.
